Well, I'm still waiting....I think spring is supposed to be here, I truly do.
It has been so cold.
I'm a part of a yahoo knitting group, I want to start the new KAL coming up. I feel compelled to finish the socks that I have on my needles first. What a dilemma.
I had a whole four day weekend to MYSELF!!! It was so nice. My spouse, bless his heart, went to our remote cabin at Crosswind Lake. I cherished every moment of my aloneness.
Last Thursday and Friday I went to Sylvias Quilt Depot in Wasilla and worked on my, get this..."stack and whack" quilt. It makes a nifty kaleidoscope center. Thursday night is the next class.

This daylight savings time is for the birds. It feels like a case of the jet lag!
grumble...grumble...teeth gnashing.
I was assured by my astute husband that spring is on the way. We will have another week of unseasonably cold temperatures, you know 0 to -10 at night. At least the sun has some heat to it again and it warms up fairly nicely throughout the day.
I'm ready to get my motorcycle out and start riding. I can hardly wait.

March 3, 2007 I participated in the Iditarod Days Polar Bear Plunge. I was terrified. My friends, Rebecca and Lucky jumped with me into 33 degree water. The outside air temp was 18 degrees. It was a charity event for the Boys and Girls Club Special Olympics.
