My husband and I loaded up our motorcycles (as much as you can) and rode from Alaska to Montana. It took us 4.5 days to get here. It was a wonderful trip. I was anxious at first but soon got into the rythm of the ride and it felt good. We had some cooler weather with only one day of bad rain and wind. Our highest gas price was in Liard River in Canada at $1.45 a liter. It cost $40.00 to fill the two motorcycles. Talk about price gouging! We made it in time to see Willie Nelson in concert. David Letterman has a summer place here in Montana and he was the anonomyous benefactor. It was a free concert and it was awesome!
I'm making a pair of socks for my granddaughter, two on one circular. It was pretty easy. It's nice to have a knitting project on the trip. Keeps me sane.
My sister met me here in Montana. I haven't seen her for a long time. She travels a lot, spends the winters sailing in Mexico. It was good to see her.
