Happy New Year everyone. Wow. Who would have thought....2007!
We had a wonderful day yesterday. My son and granddaughter, came over for birthday/new year festivities. We had a wonderful dinner then went outside for sledding and snow machining. The little girl had a blast. The sledding hill is an excellent kids hill. It's steep and a good long run. It took her a few tries to get the hang of laying back and using her body english to steer. Papa would take the snow machine around and pick her up at the bottom. Then we shot off fire works. Here in Alaska we don't do fireworks on the 4th of July, as it is pure daylight all summer long. Not conducive to viewing the beautiful colors. So, New Years is the holiday for fireworks. Then, we came in for birthday cake and ice cream (next year I'm not making my own cake)(which is what I said last year). I opened my lovely gifts.
So, any new years resolutions out there????
